RankingReel is a free ranking video maker that runs in your browser. This policy explains what information is collected when you use rankingreel.com, who collects it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- Your clips, music and finished videos never leave your device. We never receive them.
- There are no accounts, and we don't ask for your name or email address.
- Saved drafts are stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
- Our hosting provider and Google receive technical information such as your IP address when you visit. Google uses cookies to show ads on the site.
Your videos and drafts
The video maker does all of its work inside your browser. The clips and music you add are read from your device, the video is rendered on your device, and the exported file is saved straight to your device. None of it is uploaded to us or to anyone else.
When you click Save draft, the project, including its settings, labels, clips and music, is stored in your browser's built-in storage (IndexedDB) on that device. We can't see or access your drafts. They aren't synced to your other browsers or devices. You can delete a draft at any time from Drafts in the editor, and clearing this site's data in your browser settings deletes all of them.
Information collected when you visit
Hosting
RankingReel is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security, for example to tell people apart from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Fonts
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. Google describes how it handles this information in its Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
No analytics
We don't use analytics or tracking tools to measure how you use the site.
Advertising
RankingReel is free to use, and we show ads from Google AdSense to pay for it.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they won't be personalized. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies to limit how often you see the same ad, to report on ads in aggregate, and to prevent fraud. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google asks for your choice before cookies are used for personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link in that message.
Cookies and browser storage
RankingReel itself doesn't set cookies. The cookies you may find on this site come from Google's advertising service and from Cloudflare's security features, as described above. The editor uses your browser's storage only to keep the drafts you save. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you clear site data, your saved drafts are deleted too.
Children
RankingReel is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age for consent in your country, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA in California give you rights over your personal information. These include the right to know what is collected, to ask for it to be deleted, and to object to its use for advertising. Because we don't keep accounts or store your content, most of these choices are in your hands directly: delete your drafts in the editor, and use the ad settings linked above. Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
